Bulk upload with filename matching

Upload all images of a product at once — the filename decides which variant each one belongs to.

The naming pattern

Name the files ProductName_Variant1_Variant2_Identifier.jpg, for example shirt_red_M_01.jpg. The parts between the first and last underscore are the variant's option values; the last part tells several images of the same variant apart.

Uploading

  1. Open the bulk upload in the Image Variant Manager.
  2. Drop all files in at once.
  3. Check the proposed assignment — files that were not recognised are flagged.
  4. Save. The images are uploaded and assigned to the variant galleries.
