The Image Variant Manager
Every variant gets its own images: build galleries per variant, sort them and show them in your shop.
What it is about
Shopify knows only one image per variant. The Image Variant Manager gives every variant its own gallery — a customer who picks “Red” sees only the red images. It replaces the standard image management on the product page inside the app.
Building galleries
The product gallery sits at the top, with one gallery per variant below. Drag images from the product gallery or your Shopify file library into a variant, sort them by dragging, and copy or move them between variants. Videos, YouTube/Vimeo links and 3D models are supported too.
Showing them in the shop
For visitors to see the variant galleries, switch on the “Variant gallery” app embed in the theme editor. It adopts your theme gallery's settings. If two galleries appear on top of each other, enter your theme gallery's CSS selector in the embed.
